Fatal deer disease confirmed in Mississippi | Montgomery Advertiser Fatal deer disease confirmed in Mississippi
Chronic Wasting Disease is a neurological disease affecting deer, mule and whitetail deer, elk and moose, according to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention website. It is fatal to animals that contact the disease, and there is no vaccine, the CDC says.
